Mission Statement

 

The purpose of the Arabic Student Association is to create a developing environment of the Arabic language and culture on Kent State University’s campus. It is our hope to establish the importance of cultural diversity and growth of foreign language. 

The Future Sounds Good 

 

  • Arabic is the 5th most common natively spoken language in the world.

  • There is a high demand and low supply of Arabic - speakers in the Western world

  • Arabic - speaking nations are a fast growing market for trade.

Arabic Coffee Hour at Kent

 

Join native Arabic speakers and practice conversation with students! All are welcome on Tuesdays in Satterfield Hall from 12 -2pm 

Arabic Programs at Kent 
 

Kent State offers classes catered to all linguistic levels ranging from Elementary Arabic to Advanced Arabic. In addition to the language classes, Kent offers an M.A. Arabic transalation program. For more information on, click the icon to the left!
